There’s going to be some tired moms today! Last night we went to the 10 o’clock showing of Twilight! I had low expectations and it was actually pretty good, I had my doubts about the casting, but everyone grew on me as the movie progressed. It made me want to get home and see my man. Fun girls’ night out!

Mini-Thanksgiving
November 17, 2008 · 3 Comments
Today we had a Mini-Thanksgiving feast with turkey, potatoes, gravy, corn, rolls, banana bread, brownies and ice cream. We asked the kids what they were thankful for and Jackson said, “I am thankful for candy.” Savannah said, “I am thankful for my family.” Later Jackson added “family” and Savannah added “our house.” (She’s heard us talking about Grandma and Grandpa’s house being endanger of the Orange County fires.) It was cute to hear their thoughts.
I’m grateful for my family too–my husband and beautiful children; and also my extended family-parents, siblings and in-laws.

Today our Savannah received an Award of Merit for her Reflections Photography entry at her school. She took a fall themed picture at the Tahitian Noni Gardens. She was given an engraved medal and certificate. She also entered a picture she drew of a treasure chest and castle for the visual arts category and was given a participation ribbon for her entry. Great Job Savannah Cakes!

Check out Chart Jungle for free printables calendars and charts for baby, toddler, children, behavior, checklists, chores, Christmas, schedules, education, day care, school, holidays, home-school, awards, business, car, computer, garden, health, holidays, home, Internet, money, music, pets, safety, science, shopping, sports, teachers, travel, and webmasters.
The free printables are for many areas of life. Print the on line charts to help you get more organized in your life and activities. Teach the kids to get more organized and award them for doing a good job. Keep track of events with calendars. Remind yourself of daily tasks, maintenance, budgeting, help with parenting and more.
Print charts then place them in a sheet protector for use. Write on, wipe off and hang anywhere. Great for family, parents, teachers, day care providers, schools, homeschoolers, etc.
My favorite are the chore charts-we started using a new chore chart and rewarding with chore bucks from this web site. I am sure you will find a chart that will help improve an area in your life!

Son

Son,
We expected you to come this week, but God called you home early. Thank you for teaching me true compassion for others. I am glad I was able to carry you even if only for a few months. I will never forget the sacred time I had to hold you. You were and are so precious. You are always in our hearts and we will never forget you.
Love,
Mom
