For My Friend and Her Baby

In Memory of Your Baby

img_50723

To the Child in My Heart

O precious, tiny, sweet little one
You will always be to me
so perfect, pure, innocent
Just as you were meant to be.

We dreamed of you and your life
And all that it would be
We waited and longed for you to come
And join our family

We never had a chance to play,
To laugh, to rock, to wiggle.
We long to hold you, touch you now
And listen to you giggle.

I’ll always be your mother.
He’ll always be your dad.
You will always be our child.
The child that we had.

But now you’re gone…but yet you’re here.
We sense you everywhere.
You are our sorrow and our joy.
There’s love in every tear.

Just know our love goes deep and strong.
We’ll forget you never.
The child we had, but never had,
And yet will have forever.

-C.P.

My friend-I am so sorry for the loss of your baby, I know no one knows so you don’t need to comment. I am thinking of you and I will never forget your baby.

Thinking of You Lisa and David

April 7, 2009 · 3 Comments

Our dear friend Lisa will be donating her kidney to someone and her son David getting a kidney from another person based on positive matches in the good Samaritan organ donation program. If everyone stays healthy with no fevers, they will undergo the extensive surgeries on Friday. Lisa-We are here to help. And we hope and pray everything goes well-no infection, no rejection, good recovery. Here’s a photo of our pre-surgery celebration-many more were here in spirit but couldn’t come out with us!
