First Day of School

Savannah started 2nd grade last week. She has taken to trading Pokemon cards at recess everyday. She has many kids in her class that she knows, and her teacher and the room are super cute.

Jackson had his First Day of Kindergarten today! He said his favorite thing was recess, his second favorite thing was coloring and the worst thing was learning. And he doesn’t know anyone in his class. He rode the bus to and from school–my baby is growing up.

And me…it’s a good thing I have a bun in the oven cause I could get used to this free time!  A long shower and guess what? No one knocked on the door! See’s candies, shopping for fall decor and I ate an entire meal without having to cut anyone’s food, get anyone a drink or take someone to the bathroom or convince them it really will taste good if you just try one bite.

I told Jackson I missed him and he said, “You should get a job mom!”

What should I do tomorrow? I am going to …well I won’t say cause Jason might get some crazy idea about me getting a job too!
